Density cube set

The set includes one 25 mm³ cube each of: aluminum, steel, brass, copper, pine, oak, poplar, acrylic, nylon, and PVC. Designed for teaching mass, volume, density, buoyancy, specific gravity, and flotation. The instruction sheet outlines various activities, and includes a table of densities of the materials, and formulae for computing density and volume. Additional materials needed for various experiments include a beaker of water, string or wire, needle or toothpick, and triple beam balance.

10 cubes : various metals, woods and plastics ; 25 mm³ each, in blue plastic case 14.5 x 13 x 3 cm. + 1 instruction sheet
