The “Today’s Weather” activity kit encourages students to assess, measure, and record daily meteorological conditions using this weather board. It is a perfect learning tool for young primary students being introduced to the basics of measurement and observation in geography. Using the weather board, students can indicate types of clouds seen in the sky, wind direction, wind strength, temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit, and the overall weather conditions, such as sunny or raining. By learning to make consistent recordings, students will also be introduced to the basic concepts needed for understanding statistical and observational trends.
